We are very sorry, but our facility is not barrier-free. It is a facility that has been renovated from an existing lodging facility, and please note that there are stairs in various places.

Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, milky lotion, and face lotion are available.

There are two large public baths, both of which have only an indoor bath.

They are unfiltered source water from the local “Takinoyu Onsen" hot spring.

Since the facilities use free-flowing hot water, it is removed daily for cleaning. In addition, chlorine is continuously injected.

Please refrain from using the baths with children wearing diapers.

The best time to see them is usually from mid-late April to Golden Week in May. Tateshinayama Shokoji Temple is a famous spot for Somei Yoshino cherry trees.

At Lake Tateshina, the best time to see them is usually from the end of October to the beginning of November.

Stamps are available at the rest observation room next to the restrooms at Roadside Station Venus Line Lake Tateshina.

It is not available at Roadside Station Venus Line Tateshinako.

We recommend Kita Yatsugatake Ropeway (15 minutes by car) and Tateshina Otaki (5 minutes by car). For more information, please check the Tateshina Tourism Association website.

All guest rooms are on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. You will need to use the stairs.

We offer a dinner course featuring local ingredients from Nagano Prefecture at the “Apron Mark” restaurant on the 1st floor. You can choose a start time from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (in 30 minute increments).

Please receive a breakfast set from a restaurant in the facility and enjoy it in your room or a free space. The store that serves it varies depending on the day of the week. Breakfast is available at 7:30 a.m. or 8:30 a.m.

“Tateshina Free Farm” is about 10 minutes by car from Tateshina BASE. With a large selection of fruits and processed agricultural products, this market is like a showroom for Shinshu.
