At Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway, you can enjoy the magnificent natural scenery of the Northern Alps. From the base station located at an altitude of about 1,800m, you can travel in a 100-person capacity ropeway for about 7 minutes to arrive at the summit station at an altitude of about 2,400m. From the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful mountains of Japan, including the Yatsugatake mountain range, the Southern Alps, and Mount Fuji. Near the summit station, a natural Tsuboniwa (small garden) spreads out, where you can view alpine plants while strolling for about 30-40 minutes.

Depending on the season, you can enjoy different landscapes, with the fresh green season and the autumn foliage season being particularly popular tourist spots. In winter, many tourists enjoy winter sports in combination with the nearby ski resorts.
